With a 12-2-0 record so far this season, the Colorado Avalanche are off to a good start, maybe in part, to yoga. Avs forward Ryan O’Reilly, an avid Yogi, helped bring yoga practice to his team by holding their first ever yoga class this Monday. And with legendary coach Patrick Roy on board too, the season’s bound to get even better.

Sour Lululemons
After experiencing problems with their pants and thus, high-profile turnovers, Lululemon has found itself in trouble again thanks to its founder Chip Wilson. In an interview with Bloomberg Television’s Street Smart he stated, "Quite frankly, some women's bodies just actually don't work" while discussing the fit of his company’s clothes. Later in the interview, he did backpedal, but the damage had already been done.  

What a Pain in the Hips
Don’t ignore that pain in your hips, especially if you’re a woman. While yoga is known to increase flexibility and open up your hips, it can also lead to some serious damage. Doctors across the map are seeing more and more middle-aged women coming in with hip pain that’s severe enough to have a hip replacement. While it’s not exactly an epidemic, this should be a warning that if you’re feeling pain to seek treatment.
